Changing the Settings of a Managed Component |

Let us consider that there is a need for the administrator to change the settings of Managed Component of Process Platform. The following steps describe the procedure to change the settings of Ws-Apps Service container. By default, the property ruleEnabled of WS-Apps Service container is unchecked. The below procedure explains how to enable the ruleEnabled through JConsole.
Note: The Hot settings that appear in blue can only be changed. Restarting of the Service Container is not required as the changes will be applied immediately.
- Connect to JConsole using the JMX Address URL of the WS-Apps Service Container.
For example: service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/rmi://<Host Name>/cordys/system%23maxdb%23maxdb - Go to MBeans tab and expand com.cordys. Click Attributes node under the Ws-Apps Service Container.
ruleEnabled is one of the hot settings of the WS-Apps Service Container. By default, the value is set to false as shown in the below figure.
Also, in System Resource Manager, under the properties of WS-Apps Service Container, the 'Enable Rules' is unchecked as shown in the following figure.
- Change the value of 'ruleEnabled' attribute to 'true'.
- Enable Rules is checked immediately after changing the ruleEnabled attribute value as shown in the figure below.
